MIKE: Discover Mike Tyson’s Story in New Trailer for Hulu Series

Mike Tyson is quite an enigma of a person, coming out to be one of the most polarizing celebrities of the decade. But regardless of where you stand on Tyson, Hulu is set to tell his story with the upcoming series Mike.

Now we have a new trailer that looks to follow Tyson’s rise to fame and his history behind bars. Watch this:

The series will explore the wild, tragic and controversial life and career of heavyweight champion Mike Tyson – one of the most polarizing figures in sports culture.

In the spotlight will be Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight) who will be playing the main role of Tyson. Since this series also covers Tyson’s teen life, that part will be taken over by B.J. Minor (Acrylic). Besides them, the series’ biggest star is probably Harvey Keitel.

The show actually comes from the team behind I, Tonya, so we should expect some kind of raunchy storytelling when it comes to a celebrity like Tyson. With Tyson also not being shy when it comes to going in front of the camera, I wouldn’t be surprised if the man himself made some kind of appearance in the series—even if it would be for just a cameo or something.

Mike is a limited series and is only set to run for eight episodes. If you’re looking for another biopic series with the same tone as I, Tonya, I suggest you check out Hulu’s other series Pam & Tommy which tells the story of the most infamous celebrity sex tape starring Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson.

Mike premieres on Hulu on Aug. 25.
