Midge Hits It Big with Trailer for Final Season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Very few series manage to impress on all cylinders, but Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel manages to pull it off when it comes to writing, acting, cinematography, music—everything. Like all good things though, the series must come to and end, and we have a new trailer for the final fifth season.

Though we’ve had to watch Midge and her family go through some highs and lows throughout the season, Season 5 will finally have Midge closer to the celebrity status, what with her getting interviews in talk shows and getting even more fans.

We also see that her manager Susie is doing better for herself, managing to nab other great talent and somehow running her own agency (or whatever version Susie has of an agency).

Of course, it also wouldn’t be Mrs. Maisel without Midge’s dysfunctional family, and we’re going to be seeing the Maisels and the Weissman’s for one last time. Though they may not be the most supportive of characters when it comes to Midge’s career, they are always fun to watch, especially Tony Shalhoub Abe who is the epitome of every judgemental but highly educated father.

I’m just happy the show will be given a proper ending. After what Netflix has done with GLOW and several other shows recently, it’s great to know that Mrs. Maisel will be able to cover the story it set out to tell.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on April 14.
