Meet the Charming Lally Hicks in New Fantastic Beasts 3 Featurette

Newt Scamander’s posse continues to grow with Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, and the movie is going to introduce us to another Hogwarts professor in the form of Lally Hicks (Jessica Williams). Lally actually gets her own featurette, and we get to watch just exactly how she fits in the team.
Watch this:
Lally actually has a short appearance in Crimes of Grindelwald, so I guess you could say that the movie was already building up to her starring role with this sequel. With so much of the first team gone like Tina and Queenie, Newt (or rather Dumbledore) will have to wrangle up a new team. I’m just curious how they keep finding a way to keep bringing Jacob back to the magical world—I mean, I like the character, but what does he really bring to the table besides comic relief? I guess I’ll just have to watch the film to find out.
With Crimes of Grindelwald being a critical bomb, hopefully David Yates and his team have found a way to better tell the story that’s in J.K. Rowling’s head. They actually brought in Potter scribe Steve Kloves to help write the screenplay, so maybe we’ll have something that’s more cinematically sound from a narrative standpoint.
Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
Catch Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore when it comes to theaters on April 15.
