Marvel's 'The Punisher' Gets a Cryptic And Dark New Mini-Promo

Things go dark in the newest mini-promo for Netflix’s “The Punisher” starring Jon Bernthal. The new Marvel series on the streaming service will explore Frank Castle’s (AKA The Punisher) journey into becoming the iconic vigilante and the tragic experiences that built up his persona.
“The Punisher” has been wrapped up in so much secrecy that there’s little to none that is known about the series. The plot, cast, and premiere have all been kept under wraps, and fans couldn;t help but fiddle anxiously as they wait for more details to leak. What we’ve seen so far is Frank Castle in full costume, a short trailer, and a few glimpses of the villain. The newest promo also doesn’t help in gaging the plot that much but here it is anyway:

What’s going on in the new ‘The Punisher’ clip?

As you can see from the promo, there’s not much going on apart from a silent loop of a night-vision video of a SWAT team or whatever rogue military team there is. They’re shown trying to infiltrate a building as it switches from different personal perspectives. “Everything will come to light eventually,” the caption reads.
The same clip can also be seen on a TV in the background of “The Punisher’s” new cover video on Facebook. “The hunt is on,” says the caption on the cover video. It’s obvious that Frank will run into some kind of trouble with the authorities as he hides inside the building, but it’s unclear how he got himself into that situation. One thing is for sure, though, that “The Punisher” will also highlight Frank’s military experiences in the past and how he will be using it to his advantage.
Many fans have been demanding the release date on the Instagram clip, but so far, all we ever got was a revelation of the episode titles for Season 1. And to make things even more cryptic, the titles were revealed in Morse code. But whatever the short video means, it could very well be a matter of time before any official word on “The Punisher” comes out.
