During Episode 6 of “Married At First Sight” Season 6, the couples, Jephte and Shawniece, Jonathan Francetic and Molly Duff, and Ryan Buckley and Jaclyn Schwartzberg returned home and started living together.
Finding a new home
Ryan and Jaclyn liked each other’s apartment, but they both decided to find a new place where they can start their life together as husband and wife. When they began talking about money, they found out that it will never become their problem since their income is just equal. Molly then started to fix their luggage but was startled for a few seconds after noticing a box with the pictures of her dead ex-boyfriend. Jonathan didn’t hesitate to comfort his wife, but he admitted that he was afraid that Molly was going backward in their relationship.
Jonathan and Molly liked each other’s apartment too. But there is a little problem—Jonathan lost his job when he joined the show, so his wife stressed out about it. However, he assured Molly that everything would be alright and she doesn’t need to worry because he is good at handling money.
Shawniece and Jephte, on the other hand, have different living styles. Shawniece had been staying with her family, so she decided to move to Jephte’s bachelor pad while looking for their new home. When night arrived, Shawniece got heartbroken when her husband decided to sleep on the floor and not beside her. She thinks that Jephte is not ready for this new set up. Shawniece cried on her mother’s arms saying that the worst feeling in the world is making her feel unwanted.
“Married at First Sight” shows one relationship getting stronger while another is on the brink of a break-up.
Jephte and Shawniece reconcile
Shawniece and Jephte end up on a heated argument on the last episode of “Married at First Sight.” But Jephte is willing to make amends with his wife. He gave Shawniece a rose and a card and promised that he would try to understand her wife more and that he is open to taking their relationship to the next level.
Later, Shawniece talked to her friends revealing that she and Jephte have finally had sex. Jephte looks like he is more comfortable now to be intimate with his wife even in front of her friends. It seems that arguments could make a relationship stronger and sweeter after all.
Jonathan loses hope
On their 15th day, each of the couples invited their friends and family for a gathering and dinner party. Jonathan Francetic hoped that Molly Duff would be intimate with her, but they were never touchy with each other at all. Jonathan is now losing hope on whether his relationship with Molly would work out or not. Molly explained that she is taking her time slowly and said that all her past relationships started with friendship but eventually ended up with a more intimate and romantic one.
Jaclyn stuck in her past relationship
Meanwhile, Ryan Buckley and Jaclyn Schwartzberg had a meeting with Pastor Cal after they argued about Jaclyn’s deceased boyfriend. Ryan said that he feels like Jaclyn is always comparing him to her ex and he felt like Jaclyn didn’t move on her past relationship yet. Molly kept on insisting that she is not comparing him to her ex, but Pastor Cal gave her advice saying that she should start replacing the memories of her boyfriend and treasure what she has now with her husband, Ryan.
‘Married at First Sight:’ Marital Complications
On their 17th day, the boys met and played basketball together. Jonathan complained to Jephte and Ryan that Molly makes him feel like any physical contact they had together was “forced.” He also poured out the frustration he feels whenever he goes home to his wife and has nowhere to go at all.
So during their 18th day, Jonathan couldn’t do anything anymore but to talk with Dr. Griffin about the problem he has with his wife. Dr. Griffin said that if he has always been thoughtful and kind to his wife but got nothing in return, then he must watch out. Jonathan decided to stay with his wife because he wanted their marriage to work.
Molly then talked to Dr. Griffin and took all the blame. According to her, she didn’t take care of their relationship during the past days, but now she is very willing to make it work.
“Married At First Sight,” continues next Tuesday, February 27th, at 9/8c on the Lifetime channel.
