Mandy Moore Engaged To Taylor Goldsmith: How Long Has The Romance Been Going?

“This Is Us” star Mandy Moore recently got engaged to rock musician Taylor Goldsmith. It’s been a surprise for some, seeing how the two have been successful at avoiding the general public’s eye and how recent Moore’s divorce with ex-husband Ryan Adams was finalized (particularly back in June 2016). E! News reports that the proposal happened at Caffe Luxxe in LA’s Brentwood neighborhood.

How long had Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith been dating?

An official date has not been confirmed by either Moore or Taylor, but we can all confirm that they have been seeing each other for a little over two years now. The pair recently celebrated their 2-year anniversary in July, with the “This Is Us” actress sharing a sweet Instagram post dedicated to Goldsmith.

“The best 2 years,” Moore captioned. “Never not smiling with you, T.”
Thanks to Moore’s Instagram, we can all speculate that the romance has been going on since the summer of 2015. Back in July of the same year, Moore shared a photo of her spending some time with Goldsmith as a #FlashbackFriday post. In the photo, Goldsmith is seen playing Scrabble with her.
Since that post, Moore and Goldsmith have been seen together a couple of times, with Moore even spending some time with Goldsmith’s band, Dawes, on tour. Fast forward to two years later, it looks like July 12, 2015, is the couple’s anniversary (well, those things and us doing the math based on her caption worked pretty well).
This isn’t the first time that Moore has been engaged, though. Back in 2009, she married musician (she does have a thing for rock stars, huh?) Ryan Adams but ended up having a divorce in January 2015, six years after being married.
And as for what’s next for the newly-engaged couple, anything could happen for them. We can already see a future with a bunch of musically-inclined kids popping sometime in the future, given how both are great singers and musicians too.
