[00:01:00] Maze seduced a guy inside Lux to follow her upstairs. The guy followed and found Maze inside a Jacuzzi. He joined Maze and quickly regretted it as Lucifer had planned to lure him in all along. Sergei found himself being drowned by Maze as Lucifer asked him a few questions. He wanted to know where his wings were. Sergei Bok is a known smuggler, and Lucifer questioned him for information about his lost wings. Maze continued to drown him; however, Lucifer realized that he needed to consult with Chloe regarding his personal matters.
[00:03:45] Dan tried to convince Chloe to drop the investigation into Malcolm. He informed Chloe that Malcolm’s wife planned to pull him off life support, and they would lose all his benefits if he died with a pending case on him. Dan knew she would disagree, so he told Chloe to finalize the case or drop it within 24 hours. Lucifer visited Chloe, who was busy trying to piece her case together. He wanted advice on what to do if ever she hit a dead end on her cases. Chloe advised him to look for a new perspective, someone who wouldn’t lie to him. Lucifer thought of seeking help from Amenadiel. He left Chloe in the blink of an eye.
[00:07:30] Lucifer met with Amenadiel down at the beach. He told Amenadiel that he landed on the beach the day he abandoned hell with Maze. It was also where Maze cut off his wings. He informed Amenadiel that they had been stolen. Amenadiel didn’t like the bad news; ever since Lucifer left hell, he had been in charge of keeping souls from getting out. That’s the reason why he was so keen on getting Lucifer back to hell. Lucifer needed Amenadiel to help out, but he refused and told Lucifer that it was time he fixed his own mess.
[00:10:20] Since Amenadiel refused to help him, Lucifer had no choice but to return to Chloe to seek her assistance. Chloe accepted his assistance; however, he needed to work with Dan on this one. She told Lucifer that since he left earlier, she asked Dan for help; instead. Chloe, Dan, and Lucifer went to the place where Malcolm got shot in the Palmetto case. Chloe wanted to re-enact the shooting in order to check what she missed a few years back; however, after their role play, she found nothing new. Dan received a call regarding Lucifer’s angel wings; Chloe accompanied Lucifer to check the lead out. The angel wings were about to be auctioned in an event; however, the FBI was going to raid the auction that night. The FBI Agent told Chloe that they would be able to get the angel wings within 30 days upon presenting proof of ownership.
[00:16:00] Lucifer couldn’t wait for 30 days to get his wings back, so he planned to enter the auction and just bid for them. Amenadiel met Lucifer at the auction; he told Lucifer that they needed to get the wings back as soon as possible, which is why he came to help. Lucifer tried to bribe his way inside, but security didn’t let him in. He decided to flash his coin at the security camera, and within a few seconds, the guards let them in. Carmen Grant spoke with Lucifer and Amenadiel; he congratulated Lucifer for the coin’s authenticity, which should earn a lot at auction. Lucifer responded that his coin wasn’t for sale; he used it to speak with Carmen regarding his wings. Carmen didn’t want to give the wings up. Amenadiel dared Carmen to shoot them and face their wrath, but Lucifer stopped them.
[00:21:30] Lucifer wanted to bid for his wings, so Carmen obliged. Amenadiel wondered why Lucifer ran away from the fight. Lucifer confessed that he was turning mortal. Amenadiel pointed out that Lucifer would return to hell if he died on earth, which would solve his problems. Carmen started the auction when Chloe arrived. She warned Lucifer that the FBI was about to raid the auction; however, he didn’t panic. Instead, Lucifer introduced Amenadiel to Chloe. After their talk, the FBI arrived. Chloe tried to chase Carmen; however, he escaped. Lucifer begged Amenadiel to help, so he slowed downtime in order for Lucifer to get his wings. He approached the wings only to realize that they were fake. Chloe found the secret door that Carmen used to escape; she approached Lucifer to check how he was doing. Lucifer told Chloe that the wings were fake.
[00:28:00] Chloe told Lucifer that they needed to check something out regarding the Palmetto case, but he refused to tag along. Lucifer wanted to focus on finding his wings, so Chloe left him. Lucifer left Amenadiel to finish the job the devil’s way. Dan accompanied Chloe to look for a secret door; she had a hunch that the shooter escaped using a secret door just like Carmen. They found the secret door, which led out of the building into the street. They also found a police-issued key which meant another police officer was involved with the Palmetto case. Lucifer, on the other hand, visited Carmen. He entered his house to find his wings mounted on a wall.
[00:33:20] Lucifer went to the beach as soon as he got his wings. Amenadiel came to take the wings back to heaven; however, Lucifer burned them in front of him. Carmen confessed that Amenadiel tipped him off regarding the wings. Lucifer confronted Amenadiel that he planned everything in order for Lucifer to return to hell. Lucifer added that it almost worked; however, he no longer wanted to return to hell. Amenadiel furiously punched Lucifer, but he stopped, realizing he was wrong. Amenadiel vowed that he would do everything in his power to bring Lucifer back to hell. Chloe went to the precinct to attend Malcolm’s wake. She proposed a toast in his honor and announced the end of her investigation into Malcolm. Chloe told Dan that they needed the whole force off their backs if they were ever going to catch the corrupt police.
[00:38:30] Lucifer told Maze that he destroyed his wings which meant that they would never go back to hell. Maze understood and told him that she would support him through anything. Chloe arrived at the Lux to apologize for leaving Lucifer earlier. The two of them had a couple of shots as Maze watched from afar. She pulled out a feather that belonged to Lucifer’s wings and left the bar. At the hospital, Malcolm’s wife pulled him off of life support; Amenadiel witnessed everything and stopped Malcolm from dying before he left the hospital.
