LUCIFER: Exclusive Scoop on the Season Finale

Hey, Lucifans!

We're fresh from a screening of Lucifer's first finale, and only now fully appreciating how much of a two-parter these final two episodes of the season really are. We also note that the finale could easily have doubled as a series finale should the show have failed to secure a renewal.

Thankfully though that's not the case. Lucifer has officially been given the green light by FOX to return for another season -- one that will feature a brand new Big Bad (you heard it here first).

If you tuned into last week's "#TeamLucifer" then you'll know the cliffhanger ending saw the unhinged Malcolm Graham (or Pornstache as Lucifer likes to call him), taking the life of the troublesome (and also unhinged) preacher who accosted him in the street earlier that day. With a dead body stashed behind the bar, evidence of their bust-up on record, and Malcolm now in the wind, things are looking decidedly bleak for our favorite fallen angel.

We've got 5 new teasers from the finale to share with you. As always, we do our best to avoid outright spoilers and plot-reveals that would otherwise ruin your enjoyment of the live-aired episode (and there are quite a few in the finale). However, we urge you to proceed with caution anyway because it's the internet, and who are these ScreenSpy people anyway?

Wait! What?

The season one finale will see angel brothers Lucifer and Amenadiel teaming up in order to stop Malcolm. However that’s not the strangest coupling this week by far. The finale will also see Maze coming to Chloe’s assistance as they follow a difficult lead together.

Maze takes a moment this week to attempt to understand Chloe’s viewpoint, and realizes that in their desire “not to see people getting away with things they shouldn’t” both Chloe and Lucifer are cut from the same cloth.

The new perspective prompts Maze to marvel “And to think I almost killed you in your sleep that time!”
