Liam Neeson to Reprise Qui-Gon Jinn for Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi

A lot of fans have been clamouring for a Qui-Gon Jinn return in Star Wars, and though I’m almost sure he’s going to appear in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Liam Neeson is going to be returning through another series on Disney+.
As revealed last weekend at Star Wars Celebration (via CBR), Neeson will be reprising the role of Kenobi’s Jedi master in the animated anthology series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. We don’t know specifically where Qui-Gon could show up, but I’m suspecting it could have something to do with a young Ahsoka (or a young Obi-Wan).
What’s cool is, we’re also getting a story focused on a young Qui-Gon when he was still the apprentice of a Jedi Dooku. Though Neeson won’t be voicing the young Jinn, his son has been cast to play the part. No doubt the series will be bringing back voices from The Clone Wars to reprise their roles.
Based on the art that has been leaking online, it looks like the series will be adapting the art style of The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. While I would have preferred the stories adapted different forms of animation, I guess we already have Star Wars: Visions to look forward to.

No specific release date has been announced for Tales of the Jedi, but hopefully we don’t have to wait too long before we get a trailer. I suspect we could get something around July, maybe around the same time they start promoting the August release of Andor.
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is set to come out this fall on Disney+.
