Fallen Kingdom had dinosaurs released onto the Earth, and the third movie will have us see the ramifications of what it really means to live in a “Jurassic World”. Jurassic World Dominion is set to hit theaters this June, and we have a new trailer that features the return of franchise vets Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.
Check this out:
The movie is going to kick off a few years after the events of Fallen Kingdom, as dinosaurs look to have taken over the rest of the planet. We don’t know how humanity will manage to thrive with more dangerous animals out there, but I think it’s amazing that the film is asking these big questions about preserving animals at the cost of humanity’s survival. Will humanity return to their safe planet, or will dinosaurs be the “new normal”?
Besides the returning Jurassic Park cast, we also have some new cast members with DeWanda Wise, Scott Haze, Mamoudou Athie, and Dichen Lachman. We also have more returning cast members with B.D. Wong, JusticeSmith, Omar Sy, and Daniella Pineda.
From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
Jurassic World Dominion hits theaters June 10.
