Talk about a huge transformation. People spotted “Superbad” star Jonah Hill on a casual stroll in Los Angeles and he looked like a completely different person. The Oscar-nominated comedian lost a lot of weight, sporting a slimmed figure and impressive new biceps. Fans noticed him just leaving a gym in workout gear and drinking a protein shake. It seems Hill took his vow to lose weight and hit the gym seriously.
Channing Tatum’s Gym Advice
Hill has struggled with his weight over the years, particularly for his roles on “21 Jump Street” and “Wolf of Wall Street.” He’s generally known for playing more overweight characters, generally to comedic effect. Most recently, in 2015, Hill took on over 40 pounds for the film “War Dogs.” He’s seen been working hard to lose that weight.
In an interview with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” in 2016, Hill showed a desire to get in better shape. He explained that he had called up his “21 Jump Street” co-star Channing Tatum for advice. Tatum encouraged Hill to hit the gym and also recommended him a trainer. Hill then enlisted the help of a nutritionist, who encouraged him to keep a food diary to watch his diet.
If Hill’s social media is anything to go by, his efforts are definitely paying off. Many fans on Twitter have claimed the star as their fitness inspiration and weight loss motivation. Some have even called Hill “weight loss goals.”
