Joker: Folie a Deux Wraps Filming; New Photo of Gaga’s Harley Officially Revealed

The Joker sequel had been getting a lot of attention online after images of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn had come out, and now production has officially ended, and director Todd Phillips has shared a new image of Gaga as the Joker’s better half.

Though the set photos have revealed Harley in more bright red costume, she’s just wearing a black jacket here; you can see some frills underneath it, so it’s possible that could be the red costume underneath it. Just like Joker’s look in this timeline, it seems that Harley’s appearance is more on the lain side of things, with the white makeup, red lipstick, and diamond clown eyes.

We don’t have an official story for Folie a Deux yet, but rumors have been suggesting that Harley’s origin could be altered from her being a psychiatrist at Arkham, to her being a fellow patient of Arthur Fleck. It’s also said that the movie is going to be a full on musical, which I’m totally onboard for.

If you ask me, I would love if every film in the Joker franchise would just be a different genre. With the first movie being a dark Scrosese-esque character study, and the second film being a musical, I would like to see the third movie become a take on the comic book genre with Joker finally taking on his version of Batman.

We don’t know when we’ll get our first teaser, but Joker: Folie a Deux comes to cinemas on Oct. 4, 2024.
