Jessica Jones: Is Krysten Ritter Teasing a Daredevil Appearance?

Everyone thought the era of the Marvel Netflix heroes was over, but after Kingpin and Daredevil’s return in the MCU, everyone is wondering who else could be making the jump. Rumors have been going around about Krysten Ritter’s return as PI Jessica Jones, and Ritter just posted a photo that has everyone speculating.

That’s a photo of Ritter working out wearing a “DD” Daredevil shirt. We know it’s not official confirmation, but the way that Marvel fans love to speculate, anything that Ritter posts that has any hint of an Easter Egg will be pored over until the last pixel.

Rumors of Ritter’s MCU debut have actually been floating around for a while, with some guessing that she would appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law to hang around with Jennifer Walters. Since that show eventually gave us Daredevil’s return; it wouldn’t be far off for the official Daredevil: Born Again series to introduce someone like Jessica Jones—bring in the revamped Luke Cage while they’re at it!

Though not every Marvel Netflix series was perfect, Jessica Jones remains to be one of the more interesting properties. Besides Jessica’s glum persona, she also had a terrific villain in the form of David Tennant’s Kilgrave. Who knows, maybe there’s room for him to return in the MCU, but for now, all we can really do is wait and see.

No release date has been set for Daredevil: Born Again, but it’s possible we could be looking at a 2024 premiere on Disney+. In the meantime, catch Matt Murdock in She-Hulk, now streaming.
