It’s Indy vs. Nazis Again in Super Bowl Spot for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

After returning for Star Wars and Blade Runner, Harrison Ford is once again donning the fedora for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The film just got a new spot at the Super Bowl, and we have Indy going up against another Nazi played by Mads Mikkelsen.

Check this out:

Though we don’t get a good look at her, the trailer also features Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s (Fleabag) new character Helena who is said to be Indy’s goddaughter. I guess it’s worth noting that this isn’t Waller-Bridge’s first time sharing an adventure with a Harrison Ford character; she also played the droid L3-37 in the anthology film Solo: A Star Wars Story.

With Ford seemingly closing the books on all his iconic characters, Dial of Destiny is said to be his last run as Indy. We don’t know if he’ll eventually pass the torch to Helena, but with James Mangold at the helm, fans are expecting a Logan-type sendoff.

Here’s the synopsis for Dial of Destiny:

Experience the return of legendary hero, Indiana Jones, in the fifth installment of this beloved swashbuckling series of films. Finding himself in a new era, approaching retirement, Indy wrestles with fitting into a world that seems to have outgrown him. But as the tentacles of an all-too-familiar evil return in the form of an old rival, Indy must don his hat and pick up his whip once more to make sure an ancient and powerful artifact doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny comes to theaters on June 30.
