It’s a Fairy Tale Heist in New Clip from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Avatar: The Way of Water may have dominated cinemas in the past week, but Dreamworks is set to return to the Shrek universe this week with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Just in, we have a new clip from the movie which has Puss and his team attempting a heist on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Watch this:

Admittedly, the clip feels like a huge spoiler, but the movie has confirmed that there are two more villains to account for including the Big Bad Wolf and ‘Big’ Jack Horner (from Jack and the Giant Beanstalk). I’m assuming this is from the Second Act climax, so it’s not really that huge of a spoiler.

As a huge Florence Pugh fan, I’m just happy to hear her voice in something where she isn’t being terrorized by some guy. You also have to love her dynamic with the Bears in which Goldilocks in kind of their boss, but she’s still treated like family.

For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new adventure in the Shrek universe as daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet.
