The Losers are back in Derry. With production of Andy Muschietti’s It: Chapter Two underway, it’s only a matter of time before we get to see some on-set action (or horror) soon. After our first glimpse of the cast during a table read was revealed, a new set photo was released, teasing the adult cast of the hit 2017 horror movie back in their sinister hometown.
It: Chapter Two picks up 27 years after the Losers Club beat the living alien demon daylights out of Pennywise the evil clown. His threat seems to have died down with him, but things take a turn for the worst when Pennywise resurfaces to prey on children once again. That’s when Mike Hanlon, the only member of the Losers’ Club who stayed at their hometown, rounds the gang back up to put an end to the age-old terror that is IT.
Northumberland News released the images of the It: Chapter Two production. The movie–codenamed Largo–is shooting a scene that looks very much like the Losers’ Club first return to Derry in 27 years. There’s a photo of them walking down the road (seen in a tweet below) with grim and puzzled expressions. In it, we see Jay Ryan (Ben Hanscom), Isaiah Mustafa (Hanlon), Jessica Chastain (Beverly Marsh), Bill Hader (Richie Tozier), James McAvoy (Bill Denbrough), and James Ransone (Eddie Kaspbrak). Absent from the photo is Andy Bean’s Stan Uris, who, in the book, didn’t make it to the reunion. Stan committed suicide upon getting the news from Mike that Pennywise has returned.

Bill Skarsgård will reprise his role as Pennywise the Clown, with Teach Grant portraying the older Henry Bowers, and Xavier Dolan, a newcomer playing Adrian Mellon, a gay man that Pennywise terrorized way before the Losers were born. Tom Rogan was also announced to play Beverly Marsh’s abusive husband.
It: Chapter Two hits theaters September 6, 2019.
