IMAGES: Complications Season 1 Episode 3 “Immune Response”

Antoine’s presence becomes a problem for John in USA Network’s Complications on July 2.

The Network teases that in the show’s upcoming third episode, “Immune Response,” Gretchen will make expensive arrangements to hide Antoine elsewhere in order to keep Bridget from finding out that John illegally transferred the child to the Surgical Center.

However, her actions will force John to ask the gang for money, an act which will serve to bring him closer to their world than ever before.

Meanwhile, Samantha’s relationship with John is tested when a past indiscretion resurfaces.

Complications centers on a disillusioned suburban doctor (Jason O’Mara) who, while still dealing with the emotional effects of his daughter’s death, unexpectedly becomes a vigilante hero when he intervenes in a drive-by shooting, saving a young boy’s life.

When John learns the boy is still marked for death, he’s compelled to save him at any cost. Through this journey, he must compromise his morals, often doing the wrong thing for all the right reasons.

The series also stars Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl) as Gretchen, a reckless but capable nurse; Beth Riesgraf (Leverage) as John’s wife, Samantha, who while attempting to support her husband, is struggling with her own issues; and Lauren Stamile (Burn Notice) as John’s by-the-book coworker, Dr. Bridget O’Neil, who finds herself dealing with the aftermath of his actions.

“Immune Response” airs Thursday, July 2 (9-10 p.m. ET) on USA Network.
