HBO Max Gives New Look at Incoming Shows The Last of Us, Succession, White Lotus, and More

With House of the Dragon set to end next week, HBO Max is going to lose one of their major draws for the year. Not to worry though, because they just dropped a new trailer for all the upcoming content coming to the platform soon.

I fucking love it here. New originals, returning series, and more are coming soon to HBO Max.

Probably one of the biggest shows coming to HBO Max is Craig Mazin’s adaptation of the hit video game The Last of Us starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. With Mazin’s great work with Chernobyl, a lot of fans think he’s the perfect choice to adapt something as bleak as The Last of Us for the small screen; I’m just hoping they manage to capture the ‘apocalyptic beauty’ that the original game managed to bring to audiences.

Besides that, we have a look at a lot of other great series including Succession, The White Lotus, and We’re Here. We also have a new series called The White House Plumbers and Love and Death starring Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision, Doctor Strange 2). We also have some teasers for renewed shows like Minx, Hacks, Our Flag Means Death, and How to with John Wilson.

We may also not be getting a new season of Euphoria, but we should get the same kind of sexed-up arthouse series with Sam Levinson’s The Idol. This should hold some Euphoria fans over while they wait for Rue and the rest of her friends to come back.
