Harley and Ivy are Back in Raunchy Trailer for Harley Quinn 3

Though Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn can’t get as raunchy as she can in the movies, Kaley Cuoco’s animated version could go all out in her animated series on HBO Max. The series is set to premiere with their third season, and we have a new trailer featuring a lot of the series’ signature humor as well as some meta cameos.

The mayhem and madness continue in season three of this biting and uproarious adult animated comedy series. Wrapping up their “Eat. Bang! Kill. Tour,” Harley Quinn (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) return to Gotham as the new power couple of DC villainy. Along with their ragtag crew – King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), Frank the Plant (JB Smoove) – “Harlivy” strives to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise.

Like previous seasons, there are references to several other pop-culture memes that were all over the internet. Probably the most prominent one is the whole ‘Batman doesn’t give head’ issue, and we see him and Catwoman going through with it in one scene.

There’s also a cameo from The Suicide Squad director James Gunn. We don’t know exactly what he’s going to do on the show, but it’s nice to see DC acknowledge him as one of the more prominent figures now behind-the-scenes.

Catch Harley Quinn Season 3 when it begins streaming on HBO Max on July 28.
