GRIMM: Exclusive Scoop on

Friday's episode of Grimm is trademark action-adventure cut through with some pretty dark moments of black comedy (Wait for the morgue scene, that's all we're saying) that will leave you wondering why you're laughing.

Sidebar: The collective term for the Wesen of the week is "group of grief"  which puts a whole new slant on "murder of crows."

This latest installment finds Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) in pursuit of a killer who liquefies and removes the bones of his victims. However, this is far from a Wesen killer on a rampage story, as you will soon see.

Meanwhile, Wu's (Reggie Lee) new wolfly transformation take a dramatic leap that places our favorite sergeant in jeopardy, and while Nick and Adalind (Claire Coffee) struggle with trust issues, Rosalee (Bree Turner) makes a startling observation about Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) and Renard (Sasha Roiz) moves pieces on his board game into their final positions.

We’ve seen the episode a little early, thanks to our friends at NBC, and have a number of teasers to share with you.

As always, we do our best to avoid outright spoilers and plot-reveals that would otherwise ruin your enjoyment of the live-aired episode. However, we urge you to proceed with caution anyway.

“That’s What I would Have Said”

We suspect Grimm may be heading into territory that’s only going to upset Adalind and Eve/Juliette fans in a ‘triangular’ manner, and frankly we’re afraid, because when it comes to representing its female characters, this series, unlike some other genre shows recently, hasn’t suffered a misstep in five seasons. We think that says a lot about the integrity of the show.

However, “Good to the Bone” will feature a rather intense scene involving Eve and Roslaee in the Spice Shop. It seems Eve is most concerned about the timing and likelihood of Adalind’s confession to Nick re her Hexenbiest status.

(By the way, thanks for your concern. Yes, both Monroe and Rosalee made it out of the tunnel alive, and we assume Rosalee also made it to the bathroom safely.)

For the record, the only person I ship Nick with is me — I’m selfish like that — so what follows is written without bias or preference for either ship. It appears there may just be a little bit of Juliette left. And it appears she may still have feelings for Nick.

Two women fighting for the affections of the male lead? Please say you’re not going there, Grimm. You’re so much better than this.

We’re hoping this moment is one that makes it onto NBC’s weekly sneak peek clips roster so you can judge for yourself. There’s potentially a lot to think about here.
