Green Arrow Live Action Series in Development for CW

The CW is close to ordering a pilot for a live action series based on the classic DC Comics character Green Arrow, according to an article in EW. Green Arrow, the Justice League’s expert archer, was played by Justin Hartley in the CW series Smallville, but the network is reportedly casting someone else in the title role for this new project. The show is being developed by Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim (who worked on last year’s live action film Green Lantern), and Andrew Kreisberg (Fringe, Vampire Diaries).
