Gotham City Sirens Cast: Margot Robbie Reprises Her Role as Harley Quinn

Director David Ayer and Margot Robbie, who plays Suicide Squad’s fan fave Harley Quinn, make a comeback in the upcoming film, “Gotham City Sirens.” The 26-year-old actress is an executive producer for the movie that centers on the women from the DC Comics Universe. Catwoman and Poison Ivy are reportedly going to be featured alongside Harley.

Exactly What is Gotham City Sirens?

Paul Dini and Guillem March are the creators of DC’s Gotham City Sirens. It is a spinoff series of 26 issues which ran from June 2009 to August 2011. The main characters include Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Catwoman but there are other characters involved like Dick Grayson, Joker, Riddler, Talia and Zatanna.

DC Comics details out the plot where Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn get tired of playing by other people’s rules and decide on an agenda of their own. Together they make up the Gotham City Sirens.

The script for the movie adaptation is being written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and in Margot reportedly signed the “first look” with Warner Bros. on the Quinn spin-off. The chances of The Joker and Batman appearing in the film is yet to be known.
