“Goosebumps 2” has been moving ahead with its official title and promo image released. The second adaptation of R.L. Stine’s “Goosebumps” book series was revealed to be “Goosebumps: Horrorland,” which is set to hit theaters September 2018.
Possible Plot Details For Goosebumps: Horrorland
The promo artwork did not disclose much of the film’s plot. However, as the subtitle “Horrorland” suggests, the whole terrifying experience might take place in an amusement park. Remember when the original film showed an abandoned park in the woods? Hannah (Odeya Rush), Zach (Dylan Minnette) and Champ (Ryan Lee) even rode the park’s Ferris wheel trying to finish the story while getting chased by monsters.
While we don’t get many hints on the possible synopsis of “Goosebumps: Horrorland,” the sequel’s title itself sounds very intriguing. It makes you think whether the monsters will once again cause havoc within the people’s lands; or, the humans will be brought to the monsters’ chaotic place, literally capturing them inside the “Horrorland.”
Fans may have a lot of expectations and assumptions for this blockbuster hit’s sequel. However, it seems pretty obvious that Jack Black will be back as the author, R.L. Stine, himself. Since the original “Goosebumps” appealed to many, bringing in $150 million revenue from $58 million budget, the original cast including Dylan Minnette and Odeya Rush will most likely be back.
Director Rob Letterman is back to helm “Goosebumps: Horrorland,” along with screenwriter Darren Lemke to deliver another petrifying yet fun-filled adventure slash horror adaptation of R.L Stine’s well-loved book series. Producers Deborah Forte and Neal H. Moritz will also join the staff to exceed the anticipations of the viewers, as well as the fans of the “Goosebumps” book series.
