Florence Pugh may have been the star of mature films like Don’t Worry Darling and Midsommar, but she’s ready to do some more kid-friendly content with the upcoming Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Just in, we have a new clip of Pugh’s Goldilocks arguing with Baby Bear (Samson Kayo).
Check this out:
The scene essentially feels like something out of The Hobbit where the ogres (or bears) start arguing among themselves while Gandalf (or Kitty Softpaws) tries to free their captive friends (Perrito). What are the odds that pinecone Kitty gets is going to be set on fire?
Though Shrek has its own fun cast of characters, some people can forget that it’s basically like an MCU of interconnected fairy tale characters. Sure we’ve probably seen Goldilocks and the Three Bears at some point in the franchise, but it’s kind of cool how they’re able to give them a more fleshed out revamp for this upcoming film. I mean, who’s even keeping track of the Shrek canon?
For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new adventure in the Shrek universe as daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for peril and disregard for safety have taken their toll. Puss has burned through eight of his nine lives, though he lost count along the way. Getting those lives back will send Puss in Boots on his grandest quest yet.
Catch Puss in Boots: The Last Wish when it comes to cinemas on Dec. 21.
