Girl From Nowhere Season 1 Episode 9 Recap – Trap

Nanno transferred again to another school. Many adults say that schools are a safe and innocent place for students and free from violence. But an incident in Nanno’s new school happened when a student brought a knife to school and started to kill random students. The episode officially began with a student slacking off from school work and his teacher lecturing him about being lazy.

The student answered the teacher, and the teacher is almost out of patience because of the student. He gets the board eraser, and the student stops him from throwing the eraser at him because he threatened him that he would report it to the PTA. Mr. Tor, the teacher, told everyone that no one would go home if he didn’t finish school work. Other students complained and said to him that it was his problem and not theirs and that they still have some other things to do. Mr. Tor told them that if they wanted to leave early, ask Koh to finish his school work, and everyone will get to go.

The two girls told Koh to do his job, but Koh told them what if he didn’t want to. The other girl told him to give his notes, and she will do it for him, but Mr. Tor stopped her and told her that it must be Koh who needs to finish his schoolwork. The two girls urge Koh to do it. Koh sarcastically does three questions for each of Kaew, Duang, and Mr. Tor’s daughters.

Tang, Mr. Tor’s daughter, suddenly entered the room and greeted his father. Koh stops answering and tells him he doesn’t need to answer a question for Mr. Tor’s daughter because she is there now. Koh is childish, saying that if Mr. Tor’s daughter played a game, then he will not do his assignment. A student suddenly entered the room and told them to close the door while panicking.

Another two students entered the room to hide there. Mr. Tor asked them what is happening because they all look frightened. They all look confused. The students who came rushing inside the classroom told them to close the door. When Duang is closing the door, Nanno appears and stops her because she will also hide in the classroom and close the door. Mr. Tor asked them again about what is happening, and the guy told them that there was a prisoner who escaped from jail and wearing their school uniform.

The prisoner started to attack random students with a knife. The girl in glasses told them it was true because she saw it with her own eyes. Mr. Tor ordered the students to quietly lock the classroom door and windows with the chairs and tables around them so the killer will not have an opportunity to enter their classroom. Koh didn’t help everyone in arranging the tables and chairs. He sarcastically asked Mr. Tor if he still needs to finish his school work.

Everyone is stopping him from being sarcastic. Koh asked them if they believe what the two of them said. The girl in glasses told Koh to go out and see for himself if they are telling the truth or not. Koh told them they are a coward, and he is ready to leave the room when they heard an announcement about the serial killer taking a tour around their school. They all stayed inside the classroom anxiously thinking if the serial killer is still there or not.

Everyone is trying to use their phone, but no one can get a signal to contact someone outside the classroom. Nanno interrupted their conversation and told them that she has some information about the serial killer. Nanno reads the news about the serial killer, and Mr. Tor covers Tang’s ears so she wouldn’t hear what Nanno is saying. Mr. Tor told Nanno to stop and asked her if she has a picture of the serial killer. Nanno showed them a part of the picture with the bangs only being shown. Someone told them that the serial killer is going to building four, where they are at that moment. Everyone is scared and becomes quiet because of that.

Someone walks passed by the classroom they are hiding. After that, they asked each other if it is gone already. Nanno told them to keep quiet because she still hears some sounds near them. They stay still when someone knocked on the classroom door and told them to open it and help them. Everyone is scared to open the door because it might be the serial killer, and she is just pretending to be one of the students asking for help. Kaew runs to the door and wants to open it, but Mr. Tor stops her. Koh and Mr. Tor started to argue because Koh also wanted to open the door.

After all, it might be one of the students asking for help. Mr. Koh didn’t want to open it because he is thinking about his daughter’s safety inside the classroom. Mr. Tor stops everyone from going near the door. He pushed Kaew, and that leads Koh to be mad because of that. Mr. Tor told them that he doesn’t care anymore because he must protect his daughter. Nanno stops them from arguing and tells everyone that the person outside the classroom is already dead.

Everyone looked at the small space between the door to check what Nanno said, and they screamed when they see a body lying there. Koh becomes angry again and calls Mr. Tor s killer because he didn’t open the door, which is why the girl died. Mr. Tor told him that he just protected all of them. He explained that the serial killer could have entered their classroom if the door opened. He sacrificed the girl to save all of them.

The girl beside Suer started to blame him because they are stuck inside the classroom. Kaew stopped them from arguing and told them that the principal said to them that everything will be fine. Koh started to pick a fight with Mr. Tor once again. He said his prayers could not do anything besides bring them to heaven. Mr. Tor punched Koh because of that. Kaew started to shout and stop them from fighting until Nanno showed them a cutter, and they heard that sound. Everyone stops and turns their heads to Nanno. Nanno told everyone to find a weapon to protect themselves. Everyone started roaming around the room to find something to use to protect themselves.

The girl gave Suer a cutter box and told Koh that she found another metal that he can use. He gave it to Koh, and Suer looks at them suspiciously. The evening came, and everyone is still inside the classroom. Tang started to complain that she is hungry. Mr. Tor asked everyone if anyone has food or water. He saw Suer and the girl beside him move and asked if they have some water. Suer told Mr. Tor that they didn’t have one. Mr. Tor forcefully searched the bag, but he didn’t find anything.

Suer checks the bag and sees nothing until Koh drops the bottled water on the floor. Koh and Suer started to fight because of the water. Everyone is anxiously waiting and asking if the prisoner is already gone. Koh told them they might move before the serial killer returned because that was their only chance. Everyone pressured Koh and told him to go alone and check the outside because it is his fault why they are stuck there inside the classroom. Mr. Tor told them to vote on who should go outside and check.

Everyone raised their hands and voted for Koh except Sa, Suer’s girlfriend. Sa said to him that Koh doesn’t need to go alone because she feels bad for him. Suer looks at her suspiciously and told her that it isn’t the first time Sa protected Koh. Koh said that if he escaped successfully, he would not find help, and he would let them die there. Nanno agreed to Koh and introduced herself. Koh gets out and leaves the classroom alone.

Koh is ready to leave. He opened the door but stopped when he saw something outside. He came back, and everyone is confused. They asked him what happened. Koh told them that the body outside the classroom earlier is already gone. Koh changes his mind because of that. Koh said to them that he will wait there. But if it remains quiet for the next fifteen minutes, then he will go. Everyone waited, and after fifteen minutes, Koh told them to open the door for him.

Kaew stands up and open the door, but Koh pushed her outside. Kaew keeps on knocking on the door. Koh told her to leave and find some help. Kaew called Boong, but the reception is too bad. Kaew said to them that the whole school is too dark and quiet. Kaew heard someone near, and she runs in that direction. The connection was cut, and they no longer have any news about Kaew. They all look at Koh and tell him to leave to find Kaew. Koh left the room.

Duang tried to call Koh, but he declined. Sa called him, and he answered the call. Sa asked Koh to go and find some help for her. Suer wanted to go out because of what he heard in Sa and Koh’s conversation. He also left the room. Nanno looks at Mr. Tor, and she starts to manipulate him to get outside and leaves the room to find help. Mr. Tor went outside. Nanno started to smile creepily at everyone. Everyone started to panic, and Nanno laughed out loud.

They heard Koh’s voice and Sa wanted to help him. Everyone wanted to go outside to look for others who left the room earlier. All of them left the room and started to walk slowly outside. They become startled when they see the mannequins wearing school uniforms. They leave Sa alone because she is taking everyone to where Koh is. They saw Kaew, and she asked for help because she saw Koh inside the cubicle, and he is dead. The news about the serial killer being dead is on television. Nanno asked everyone who killed Koh. She also asked Tang to go with her to get Sa’s phone, so they can know who killed Koh. The episode ended with Nanno laughing creepily.

Our Thoughts

A father’s love is like Mr. Tor, who is willing to do anything for his daughter. He is in a tight situation whether to be a father or a teacher, but in the end, his love for his daughter overflowed more than being a teacher. His daughter is more important than his career and his profession. I cannot blame him for overdoing everything to protect his daughter. Even if he needs to sacrifice other people for the safety of Tang, he still did it. We will not understand a person unless we go through the same situation as others. We will never understand what Mr. Tor did because we are not a father or not yet a parent. Parents love that they are willing to do anything or everything for their children.
