How to Get Away With Murder Season 4 Episode 9 Baby, Death, and More [SPOILERS]

Annalise Keating words “Live, live, live” and the shocking images of the poor little baby of Laurel are probably haunting you for days now. Well, it still would until How to Get Away With Murder Season 4 returns in January.
A lot of powerful scenes happened in HTGAWM Season 4 midseason finale that fans have been dying to know what will happen next. First, Keating 4 carried out Laurel’s (Karla Souza) plan to take down her father. However, things did not go as planned and Simon (Behzad Dabu) accidentally shot himself in the head. Then pregnant Laurel delivered a premature baby while trapped in an elevator.
While on her way to Annalise’s (Viola Davis) hotel room, Laurel noticed that she is bleeding. Then the elevator gets stuck as she is bleeding profusely. Fortunately, Annalise heard her cries and found trapped Laurel lying in a pool of blood. She also has given birth to her son. Laurel is unconscious and her baby is not breathing so Annalise called 911. The operator assisted her on what to do.
The 911 operator instructed Annalise to give CPR to the baby with her finger. As the credit rolls, a baby cry is heard suggesting that Annalise was able to save the life of Laurel son. However, it seems like the new mom will not be able to hold her baby anytime soon as teased in the previous episode.

Laurel’s Baby Whereabouts

Several speculations emerged about the whereabouts of Laurel’s baby since it was teased in How to Get Away With Murder Season 4 premiere. One of which is that Frank (Charlie Weber) might have taken the baby. Fans theorize that Frank might have realized that he is the real father of the baby and not Wes.
However, there is also a question whether the baby is really missing or not? The baby could be in the hospital’s NICU when Laurel woke up but showrunner Pete Nowalk hinted that it is not the case. “A little too optimistic [that the baby in NICU] but I will say you’ll find out the answer to that in two months! Stranger things have happened on this, how we might surprise you with a good news option,” he told TVGuide.

The Keating 4 Future in How to Get Away With Murder Season 4

Tough days are looming for the Keating 4 following that fateful night. The group will be implicated in what could be another death. Simon had a cardiac arrest at the hospital where he was rushed after he accidentally shot himself in the head. No one knows if he will survive.
Asher (Matt McGorry), on the other hand, was arrested because of the shooting incident. Why was he arrested? What did he say to the police that got him arrested? Will Asher really end up in jail this season?
Meanwhile, Laurel’s former boyfriend, Dominic (Nicholas Gonzalez), overheard Connor (Jack Falahee) blasting Michaela (Aja Naomi King) about how terrible Laurel’s plan is. It can be recalled that Dominic is the one Laurel’s father, Jorge (Esai Morales), sent out to kill Wes. Will the Keating 4 turn to Annalise for help again?
How to Get Away With Murder Season 4 and the rest of Shondaland series are set to return on January 18 on ABC.
