Game Of Thrones Season 7 New Images Features Arya, Full-Grown Drogon And More

The Seven Kingdoms are on the brink of all-out war. “Game of Thrones” season 6 gave us a very satisfying ending to what is the prelude to the journey to the Iron Throne.

Flanked by a huge army of Unsullied troops, huge dragons, an armada of Dothraki warriors and Tyrion Lannister’s impressive strategies, Daenerys Targaryen is nearing her travels’ end across the Narrow Sea to seize the Iron Throne from Cersei Lannister. She now reigns as the Queen of King’s Landing and all of Westeros; on the North, Jon Snow braces for the onset of the White Walkers and their Wights.

That is basically the three-way struggle for power that will kick off season 7 of “Game of Thrones” this July, and we’ve barely even reached the surface here.

Game of Thrones Season 7: Arya, Drogon, Jon Snow, Petyr Baelish and Sansa

Shedding a new light (with zero amount of spoilers) today is Entertainment Weekly, with four new all-action photos in anticipation of the show’s imminent return.

One image that will definitely spark talks all over is the full-grown image of Drogon charging into battle with Daenerys perched on its back. The fact that HBO has decided to release these set of photos means that we will most likely see this epic battle involving Drogon and Daenerys somewhere early in “Game of Thrones'” seventh season.

Other photos feature Jon Snow and Baelish/Littlefinger, who can be seen standing with Sansa Stark on a canopy. Given how season 6 ended with Baelish and Sansa parting ways, this scene would definitely raise more questions and concern among fans. In the previous season, Baelish made Sansa doubt Jon Snow just as he was crowned the king of the North. Whether or not this meeting between the two would bring a huge bearing to Season 7 remains to be seen.

Another image shown was Arya riding a horse in a northern setting seems to imply that she is headed for Winterfell.

“Game of Thrones” returns this July 16 on HBO with just seven episodes. But the show does not stop there, as there is a spinoff series being planned as well. Check out the images below:
