FUBAR Trailer: Arnold Schwarzenegger Stars in Father-Daughter Action Series

Arnold Schwarzenegger is good for two genres: action, and family-friendly comedy. Now the absolute GOAT is coming back for Netflix’s FUBAR.
Check out the new trailer:
Here’s the series description:
When a father and daughter learn that they’ve each secretly been working as CIA Operatives for years, they realize their entire relationship has been a lie and they truly don’t know one another at all. Forced to team up as partners, FUBAR tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, fantastic action and humor.
I’ll admit, I thought the trailer was going to be for an action film, but it seems that the show wants to milk the entire premise of a father-daughter action team-up for more than just a single movie.
After such a storied career in movies, I’m curious what made Schwarzenegger sign up for a series like FUBAR. Maybe since a lot of his recent movies have just been banking on his old action hero history, it was probably appealing for him to sign on to a project that leans more on the comedic aspect but still has some action spread across the story.
Also, just in case it’s been bugging you, FUBAR is an acronym for ‘F*cked Up Beyond All Reason’. You’d think that they would come up with a catchier title (maybe something with a pun in it) to really match that Schwarzenegger comedy brand, but I guess the series will just have to speak for itself.
FUBAR premieres on Netflix this coming May 25.
