John Francis Daley may be directing projects recently, but before that he was loveable nerd Sam Weir in cult series Freaks and Geeks. What’s funny is, that show had an infamous scene where the geeks would play Dungeons & Dragons, and now Daley has decided to reunite with his co-stars Martin Starr and Samm Levine to promote his upcoming film adaptation.

For context, here’s the scene in the series where the geeks end up playing D&D with the resident ‘freak’ Daniel Desario (James Franco) who creates the character of Carlos the Dwarf:
It’s kind of a shame that they couldn’t bring back Franco to reprise Daniel, but I guess it’s kind of understandable with him being ‘cancelled’ and all. At least we got the reunion of the series three main ‘geeks’ Daley, Starr, and Levine. You think there was ever any room to have Linda Cardellini make a cameo as well?
The official for Honor Among Thieves reads:
A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.
Watch out for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves when it comes to theaters on March 31.
