Followers Season 1 Episode 3 Recap – Search

Tamio Mochizuki goes to the stage to receive the Best Photography Asia 2003 award. People congratulate him afterward. One man compliments Mochizuki’s work, then gives a backhanded compliment to Limi. Limi tells the man she’s not a little girl. Mochizuki smiles as Limi walks away from them.

Limi’s friends laugh as Yuruco tells them the story. While they talk about Mochizuki, Yuruco checks his social media account. They see that he’s already married, so they get disappointed.

Natsume accepts the modeling work offered to her. She is greeted by everybody when she goes inside the studio. She also introduces herself to the other models before they start the shoot. The editor is pleased with Natsume’s modeling.

Meanwhile, Limi keeps on meeting with different men. She asks each man if he can ejaculate inside her. Each time they just reject Limi. Even when Limi tells them she just needs a little, they refuse. She explains they don’t have to get married, but they still say no.

She meets with another man named Nao. She asks him first if it’s a yes or a no for him. Nao says he’s a “yes guy,” and then he asks what the favor is. Limi tells him she wants his child. Nao pushes Limi and kisses her. They get so drunk that he falls asleep without having sex with Limi. Limi’s friends listen as she names all the men that have turned her down. Akane realizes something as she looks beside her. Yuruco is still a man, and he has what they are looking for. They playfully remove his clothes as the four make fun of the situation.

At a shop, Sueo grabs some clothes for him and Tajima. Limi observes the two of them. Tajima admits she likes men who won’t take the spotlight from her. Tajima says she thinks Limi can juggle work and be a wonderful mom. Limi thanked her friend for the support. Sueo comes out from the fitting area and tries a few more clothes. Tajima takes the bill and pays for everything.

At home, Tajima greets her son Rui and tells him she will come home late that night. She lectures him about age and fashion. Then she opens her arms for a hug. Rui rolls his eyes, but he still hugs Tajima. Tajima goes to work, where all her staff greets her. They give her an update about the company, and Tajima listens attentively to all of them.

Meanwhile, Natsume is having a meal with her friends. She tells them about the vlogger she met, Hiraku. She tells them Hiraku is the worst. When her friends admit they think Hiraku was just being honest, Natsume asks them whose side they are taking. Sunny says she is on Natsume’s side.

Natsume feels guilty when she learns Hiraku’s life story as a child actor. Natsume goes back to the place where she first met Hiraku. When she doesn’t see him, she goes to the playground. She watches the videos he uploaded then she meets up with him. Natsume apologizes to Hiraku, and Hiraku does the same.

The next day, Natsume and Hiraku go to the Cute Monster Cafe. They enjoy themselves and watch the shows.

Meanwhile, Sunny looks at the photo Natsume posted. Sunny thinks of Natsume as she paints. She remembers staring at her while she slept and comforting her while she was sad. When Hiraku asks Natsume why she wants to be an actor, Natsume says it’s because she’s ordinary. There is nothing she’s terrible at or good at. Natsume tells Hiraku how her dream of becoming an actor started.

Once the music starts playing, the two of them start dancing. After their dance, Hiraku pulls Natsume into a room. Sunny arrives at the Cute Monster Cafe. She starts looking for Natsume and sees her walk into a room. She follows her, and she sees Natsume and Hiraku kissing. She runs out of the cafe into the street. She cries and collapses in the middle of the road. The cars start moving, but she remains there crying. Finally, after getting almost hit by a car, she stands up and goes home. Meanwhile, Natsume sleeps with Hiraku. 

Our Thoughts:

We think that Sunny has feelings for Natsume. We don’t know yet if Natsume knows Sunny likes girls. We saw Sunny with a girl last time. But when she knew Natsume was sad, she immediately left the girl for Natsume. But then, Natsume just slept with Hiraku. Will Sunny ever confess to Natsume? 

We are still wondering why Limi can’t just ask her doctor for other ways. Instead of meeting different men and asking for their help, why can’t she just look for a sperm donor? We know that she doesn’t have any intention of getting married or raising the kid with a man. If this is the case, then they can just do the alternatives. If she still doesn’t like it, then why not ask Yuruco for help? In Tajima’s case, she seems to enjoy Sueo’s company. But we don’t think feelings are involved, so maybe this won’t last long.
