We don’t know exactly where Sam Wilson will stand when New World Order comes around, but The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has revealed that he doesn’t really have as much money as the likes of Tony Stark or anyone else who’s close with him.
Though Steve Rogers kind of embodied the old-school American values, Sam Wilson has always been commended for being a Captain America of his time; and it’s pretty clear with the way Sam was written in TFATWS. He’s a lot more friendly than Steve when it comes to engaging with people, but he has the same kind of heart that embodies what the Captain America mantle stands for.
The major strokes of New World Order are still kept under wraps by Marvel, but it’s said that the film will see the resurgence of the Leader who was teased way back in Phase 1 with The Incredible Hulk. We don’t know what the Leader is up to, but it’s said it will have something to do with several Hulks in the film, including She-Hulk as well as Red Hulk, who is supposed to be Thunderbolt Ross.
Also did I mention that Ross is going to be the President of the US in this movie?
Captain America: New World Order comes to cinemas on May 3, 2024. In the meantime, you can catch Mackie in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier now streaming on Disney+.
