‘Lady of the Lake,’ Once Upon a Time’s third episode of the new season is set to make quite a splash. (We’d be happy if you’d just go right ahead and ignore that pun.) Not only does the episode feature an ambitious plot involving a portal that will bring Storybrooke’s residents back to the fairytale land that was, but it’s set to feature several familiar faces (Sebastian Stan as Jefferson the Mad Hatter, Barbara Hershey as Cora and Alan Dale as King George) in addition to a slew of new fairytale heroes including Sarah Bolger as Aurora, Jamie Chung as Mulan and Sinqua Walls as Lancelot. We get the feeling this is going to be one of those landmark episodes fans won’t want to miss out on.
The action centers on Emma and Mary Margaret, who with the aid of Mulan, Aurora and brave knight Lancelot, attempt to find a portal that will bring them back to Storybrooke. But a dark force threatens their safe return, and Henry tries to talk Jefferson into reuniting with his daughter.
Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, on the eve of meeting Prince Charming’s mother, King George poisons Snow White, and the only antidote lies within the waters of the Lady of the Lake.
