Fantastic Beasts 3 Featurette Delves Into Dumbledore’s Family History

Though Albus Dumbledore was mostly an infallible character in the Harry Potter franchise, he was revealed to have a troubled past in Deathly Hallows. Now with the latest Fantastic Beasts film, we actually get to delve more into Dumbledore’s family history, and we have a new featurette that highlights on it.

We know that in Deathly Hallows Aberforth Dumbledore doesn’t really care much about his brother, but maybe we can see more of their dynamic when it comes to this film. With their sister Ariana being critical to the rift between the brothers, I wonder if she’s actually going to make an appearance in the films—even if it’s just as a painting.

Besides the Dumbledores, there is also the relationship with Grindelwald. Though fans have been ‘gaybaited’ for a while when it comes to the franchise, I wonder if WB will actually go all out this time and portray an openly gay relationship between the wizard rivals. I mean, why else cast Mads Mikkelsen?

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world.
