Looks like a ‘Wubba Lubba Dub-Dub’ is in accordance as the third season of “Rick and Morty” is here! Well, the first episode is. The very first episode of the third season, “The Rickshank Rickdemption” was up for fans on April fools this year. But as for the rest of what’s going to happen in the series, here’s what to expect.
‘Rick and Morty’ Episode Two
We’ve got episode one, now what about episode two? To start it off, Spencer Grammer, who voices Summer Smith, already has a photo up on Instagram about the second episode. The post is a photo of a “Rick and Morty’ script with the title “Rickmancing the Stone” written by Jane Becker.
This was more than enough to get fans ecstatic, and it’s just episode 2. Although, just like the rest of the series, there isn’t a specific episode 2 release date yet. Just know that it will come out this summer, according to the show’s Twitter.
Aaaaaand that's the way the news goes. Thanks for watching "The Rickshank Rickdemption"! More to come this summer…#rickisfree

Morty Turned Evil A Possibility For Season 3
In the first season of the “Rick and Morty” series, there’s the introduction of Evil Rick and Evil Morty. With this idea already out there, the possibility of an evil Morty in the third season is not zero. Especially since the evil Morty in that season 1 episode manages to disappear.
In a YCombinator podcast, show writer Ryan Ridley doesn’t completely shut down the idea. Ridley says that they “stay true to the idea that the world is real. There are consequences.”
Other than that, various fan theories are forming about evil Morty. They’re all about how he can make his appearance in the third season and the plot twists with it.
Ridley added that there will also be a divorce between Beth and Jerry. This reveal is supported in the first episode of season 3.
What’s Taking Season 3 So Long?
The show’s creator, Dan Harmon, reveals in his Harmontown podcast in February why there’s such a delay- animation. Harmon explains that aside from writing, everything also has to be on paper in order for them to visualize it. “First you write them, then you draw them. For a really long time.” Harmon says.
While fans are bearing with the long wait, at least it’s going to be worth it. Dan Harmon reveals in the Magic City Comic Con in January 2016 how many episodes season 3 will be having. With the two previous seasons showcasing 11 and 10 episodes respectively, season 3 will have 14.
