Emily wakes up with a man telling her they have arrived. Standing at the train station, she gets a call from Camille, who asks her what happened with Mathieu. She tells Emily she saw Pierre’s Instagram stories, and it clearly shows he isn’t with her. Emily tells her she’s fine, and she’s going to take the next train back. Camille tells her not to and urges her to go to the hotel Mathieu booked because she will come to Saint-Tropez.
On her way to the hotel, Emily calls Mindy and begs her to come to Saint-Tropez; she doesn’t want to be alone with Camille. After much hesitation, Mindy tells Emily she’ll call Camille to see if she can get on her flight.
After checking into the hotel, Emily is on her way to her room with the Rimowa luggage when she gets stopped by Grégory Duprée. He raves about Pierre Cadault’s face on her luggage and begs Emily to take a picture of him with the luggage. Grégory tells her Pierre Cadault would die to see him posing with the luggage. He tells Emily that he and Pierre go way back, spending ten years together in the atelier. Thinking it would be good for brand engagement, Emily obliges and takes a photo of him sitting in the luggage and a couple more poses. She posts it on her social.
Emily spends some alone time roaming the streets of Saint-Tropez. She gets a call from Mathieu telling her she should take the photo of Grégory and the suitcase down before Pierre suffers a stroke. Julien also calls her, telling her that Grégory is Pierre’s nemesis and what’s happening is a nightmare. Emily tells Julien she should call Grégory, but Julien stops her and tells her it’s illegal to work on a weekend in France.
Emily calls Luc to ask for the name of the club Sylvie sent the samples of Champère to. Luc tells her she should not work while she’s in Saint-Tropez. Emily ends the call before Luc can stop her from going to Laurent G, the club.
Emily gets a seat at Laurent G and looks for Champère on the menu. When she does not find it, she asks the waiter for it. The waiter, thinking Emily is just looking for champagne, tells her it is there. But when she insists on Champère, a man steps in to help the waiter — the owner, Laurent. Emily introduces herself as someone working from Savoir and tells him she is trying to get a bottle of Champère, the champagne Savoir sent them. Laurent asks his waiter to retrieve some bottles from the basement.
While waiting for the waiter, Laurent asks Emily who had sent her. She tells him she happens to be in town, and she decides to drop by to check on the promotion for Champère. She tells him she’s in town with the Champère client, and they’d love to come back later to see how the bar promotes the brand. He tells her they are full for the night, but they’re welcome to stand at the bar.
The waiter comes with a bottle of Champère, and just as Laurent is about to open it and pour Emily a glass, she tells him it’s for spraying, not for drinking. She asks permission to show the staff how to promote the product; he leaves her to it. She steps away from the table and asks the waiter to spray her with the champagne while Laurent watches from a distance.
After freshening herself up in the restroom, Emily sees a picture of Sylvie hanging on the wall.
Mindy and Camille arrive at Emily’s hotel. Upon checking in, the receptionist tells Mindy that her father is with them two weeks earlier and she should tell her if she needs anything. They find Emily by the poolside. Camille immediately excuses herself to use the restroom. Alone with Mindy, Emily notices she seems bothered. Mindy tells Emily that Camille has been taking selfies non-stop and talking about different guys flirting with her. She shares that Camille wants to get laid. Emily tells her there are no boys allowed on their trip, so Camille and Gabriel can be back together by the time they get back to Paris.
Camille comes back. Emily tells them they are going to Laurent G, but Camille tells her they are not there for work, so they should be going to the Ragazzi house to party, so she can get Gabriel out of her system.
Meanwhile, Julien apologizes to Pierre for what happened. He urges him not to respond to Grégory’s post, so he won’t think he’s won and Pierre won’t appear small.
Emily, Mindy, and Camille arrive at the Ragazzi house. Rocco, the house owner, welcomes them and introduces Camille to Romain. Emily asks him to take a photo of them, but Gabriel calls Emily before he can do so. This surprises Camille, but Emily quickly saves the day by pretending that Gabriel is calling her to check on Camille. Camille gets upset and asks them not to mention his name again.
Romain immediately pulls Camille away from the two to show her Rocco’s new Hockney.
After a few drinks and lots of partying, Emily and Mindy find Camille amidst the crowd so they can go to Laurent G, where Mindy is finally able to get them a table. They find her by the pool, dancing by herself. She apologizes to Emily for Gabriel putting her in between them. Emily tells her not to talk about it anymore.
A seemingly flying saxophone player gets their attention. Emily quickly takes out her phone to get a video. When she’s done, she looks for Camille and finds her kissing Romain. They leave for Laurent G.
At Laurent G, Emily makes her way through the crowd to talk to Laurent when they were not served Champère when she asked for it. Camille leaves with Romain. Laurent dances intimately with a woman, but Emily still talks business with him, telling him she’s with the owner of Champère and it would be nice to get some bottles as she promised her. Emily gets flabbergasted when the woman dancing with Laurent turns around — Sylvie.
Emily tries to explain herself, but Sylvie asks her why she’s bothering Laurent for a shipment he just received the previous day and why she offended Pierre Cadault. Emily defends herself by saying she was just trying to promote the Rimowa brand. Sylvie tells her to stop fixing everything; she’s just creating more work for everyone on a weekend, which is illegal. Emily tells her she just came to Laurent G to introduce herself, but then she finds out they don’t have Champère on the menu. She further tells Sylvie she just wants to make sure they are taking care of Camille as their client. Sylvie tells her she should live with the consequences of her infidelity instead of trying to compensate for it.
Emily tells Sylvie she’ll go after apologizing to Laurent. Sylvie tells her she’ll handle Laurent, but Emily refuses to let her, saying it is her mess. Sylvie finally tells her Laurent G is her husband. Emily gets surprised by it and asks her lots of questions, but Sylvie refuses to answer.
Back at the table, Emily tells Mindy about her discovery, but Mindy seems to be busy with her phone. When Emily asks her what she’s looking at, Mindy shows her an old photo of her and her dad. She tells Emily her father was there a few weeks ago, but he didn’t bother to tell her like he used to.
Emily and Mindy are fast asleep in the hotel when Emily gets a text from Camille asking for help because she’s so messed up. Emily comes to her rescue and finds her in a church. Camille tells Emily she brought Gabriel there once to show him the art, and that was when Gabriel told her he loved her. She tells Emily she went home with Romain, but nothing happened between them. She still loves Gabriel.
The next morning, Emily comes to Laurent G to apologize and tell him she hopes she didn’t complicate things between him and Sylvie. She asks Laurent what Sylvie was like before. He tells her she was fun and wild, and she always had a bikini in her purse just in case. But what they had wasn’t enough for her, so she moved to Paris for her career, and that’s when she changed. Emily tells him not to tell Sylvie she was there, but he tells her it might be too late. Sylvie appears from a dip in the nearby waters.
While trying to find a place to eat, Emily, Mindy, and Camille pass by the place where the old photo of Mindy and her father was taken. Emily insists on taking a photo of Mindy there. Mindy sends it to his father. Grégory calls out to Emily from a yacht.
Emily confronts him for almost costing her job, but Grégory tells her that Pierre savaged his first show; he had to get even. Emily tells him she owes him, and he should let them get into his yacht. He lets them, and they all have a good time together.
Our Thoughts
We thought Mathieu leaving Emily would ruin her Saint-Tropez experience, but it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened. Emily had a great time in Saint-Tropez even when she ran into Sylvie and almost ruined her career because of Gregory. We are wrapping our heads around Emily and Gabriel not being together because things seem to be very complicated already. We think Emily should stop complicating it even more. Speaking of complicated, how did we all not know that Sylvie was married and to Laurent G, at that? Oh, Sylvie is really full of surprises. Anyway, we hope Emily fixes things between her and Mathieu and between Savoir and Pierre.
