Emilia Clarke Says Star Wars More Secretive Than Game Of Thrones

Emilia Clarke will play a mysterious character in the Han Solo spin-off and everything is tight-lipped about the project. The Han Solo spin-off is now in production and the “Game of Thrones” star is overwhelmed with the secrecy surrounding the film.

The “Game of Thrones” star mentioned in an interview with Independent that she has trouble with what she can and cannot say about the Han Solo film. But she is no stranger to set secrecy because of her experience in “Game of Thrones.”

Clarke plays Daenerys in HBO’s Game of Thrones, who also a very secretive creative team. She mentions that the creative team keeps everyone on the set, including actors, in the dark. For the Han Solo spin-off, Clarke has read the screenplay and knows more about it than she does on Game of Thrones.

Han Solo Spin-Off Cast and Characters

The cast for the film includes Alden Ehrenreich as everyone’s favorite scruffy looking nerf herder Han Solo. Joining him are Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca and Woody Harrelson as Garris Shrike. None of the other characters included in the Han Solo film have been confirmed.

Clarke is not the only mysterious character in the film. Other cast members whose characters will be revealed once the movie comes out are Phoebe Waller Bridge, Michael K. Williams, and Ian Kenny.

There are rumors about a fan-favorite prequel Jedi will show up in the Han Solo anthology movie. A character named Dryden Vos is rumored to appear in the film leading to fan speculation that he might be Quinlan Vos.

Star Wars Intense Production Secrecy

There is probably no other movie in production that is more secretive than any Star Wars project. There are many security measures the cast and crew go through to make sure there is no leak.

The only thing the public knows about the Han Solo film is that it would cover a six-year time period. It would include how he befriended a Wookiee named Chewbacca. Fans will also see how he was able to win the Millennium Falcon from Lando Calrissian.

Star Wars production secrecy is so intense, it is understandable how Clarke feels about keeping quiet. There are very little details known about the project, not even the title of the film.
