Edward and Nancy Return in New Clip from Disenchanted

Later this week will see the premiere of Disenchanted on Disney+, and a lot of fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Amy Adams as Princess Giselle. Just in, we have a new clip that gives us a look at returning characters Edward and Nancy who have become the king and queen of Andalasia.

Watch this:

While Nancy is more of a side character in the first film, we should expect her to get more attention in the sequel this time, seeing as she’s the voice of one of Disney’s most popular princesses, Elsa. The movie also leans in on Edward as a character, and he’s still a delusional Disney prince who is still clueless about everything else.

I was expecting Disney to release the musical number where they give the wand to Giselle’s family, but I guess we don’t have to wait too long before the release.

I was really hoping for a theatrical release since Enchanted did so well in theaters, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if Disenchanted manages to meet expectations when it comes to fans of the original.

It has been more than ten years since Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, but Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city, so they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

Catch Disenchanted when it starts streaming on Disney+ on Nov. 18.
