Drop Dead Diva returns after a short summer hiatus on October 6 with brand new episodes on Lifetime.
The show’s first Fall episode “Trust Me” finds Jane (Brooke Elliott) defending a former troubled socialite. However it isn’t long before a series of unfortunate legal turns puts the very existence of Harrison & Parker in jeopardy. Meanwhile, according to the latest from Lifetime on the show’s return, Grayson (Jackson Hurst) defends a young man thrown off of a commercial flight because he claims to be a vampire.
And as Lester Tuttle (Wally Langham) continues to meddle in the affairs of the firm, Owen (Lex Medlin) has some tough news to share with Stacy (April Bowlby).
As the season continues, fans will see Grayson’s relationship with Nicole (Annie Ilonzeh) developing further as Paul (Justin Deeley) makes a play to convince Jane to move on and begin dating again.
Speaking to ScreenSpy recently, Executive Producer Josh Berman said “I promise the viewers a major plot turn at the end of this sunday’s fall premiere of Drop Dead Diva. It will leave you breathless.”
To celebrate the fall return of the show, select members of the cast and crew, including Berman, Jackson Hurst, April Bowlby, Kate Levering, Justin Deeley and Lex Medlin will participate in a live “Facebook Chat” on Sunday, October 13th, at 8:30pm ET, leading into that evening’s new episode.
The cast also will be chatting with fans on their personal Facebook pages, as well as Drop Dead Diva’s official Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/dropdeaddiva.
