Stinger Topic of the Week: Dragon Con 2018

Batgirl and her henchman

34:30 Shannon and Fadra are joined by Tonya Goodnow who gives us all the deets on Dragon Con 2018!

Dragon Con is a fan-led event that takes place every year in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. It’s spread out over seven buildings and covers just about everything that has a fandom. And while Comic-Con is very industry-focused with products and previews, Dragon Con is all about the fans. Tonya just attended her 11th Dragon Con and shares with us what makes it different from other fan conventions.

Article mentioned: Dragon Con is the Anti-San Diego Comic-Con and a Mardi Gras for Nerds.

For more from Tonya, listen to our episode on TV Shows Canceled Too Soon.
