Doctor Who and Torchwood’s John Barrowman Signs on to CW’s Arrow in Recurring Role

Per EW, Doctor Who and Torchwood alum John Barrowman has signed on to the CW’s upcoming Arrow series. Barrowman is set to play a mysterious, well-dressed and wealthy acquaintance of the Queen family, in addition to being a prominent figure in the City.

While some fans are currently speculating that Barrowman’s character may be the Philanthropist Stanley Dover of the comic book series, others suggest that given the ‘Revengenda’ nature of the show, this mysterious but well connected stranger may be next on Queen/Arrow’s hit list.

Arrow premieres on the CW on October 10.
