Deadpool 2 Teaser Trailer No Good Deed Review, Stan Lee Cameos

Deadpool 2 teaser trailer titled No Good Deed launched online via YouTube this weekend. Ryan Reynolds is back as the foul-mouthed superhero that has become everyone’s favorite. Creator Stan Lee definitely makes it more interesting as he joins in on the fun making a cameo appearance on the trailer itself.

There were some rumors saying that Deadpool would be making an appearance in Logan (with the complete denial of Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold altogether), but it turned out otherwise as the Deadpool 2 Teaser aired right before Logan.

After the fiasco involving “directors leaving their posts only to be replaced by better ones” as reported by NME and all the rumors surrounding Deadpool 2, we’re finally treated to a short.

We see Ryan Reynolds reprise his role as the Merc with a Mouth in the teaser. Deadpool spots a man being assaulted, and mutters “not on my watch, mother——.” Superman’s old theme starts playing, and Deadpool jumps into a phone booth to change into his suit. It takes longer than it should have, as he also answers a call from someone. We can hear the man shrieking as if he’s about to die, and when Deadpool finally comes out, it’s already too late. Stan Lee also gives a cameo, but Deadpool brushes him off.

Back when Deadpool first hit theaters, he already made a lot of fourth wall breaking jokes which also included references to Hugh Jackman and Wolverine. Well, you can remember that Reynolds and Jackman go all the way back in 2009 when they did that god awful Wolverine solo movie which involved Deadpool LITERALLY WITHOUT A MOUTH. So it makes some sense how Deadpool would still involve himself in some way with Jackman’s final Wolverine film.

Reynolds is currently in pre-production for Deadpool 2 (which is also scheduled for release sometime in 2018). The sequel will include Cable into the X-Men franchise and Domino as well.
