David Gallagher Teases Vampire Diaries Arc

The Vampire Diaries returns for a third season tonight on the CW, with a new face.

Chevron One reported earlier that 7th Heaven actor David Gallagher is set to debut as Tennessee werewolf Ray Sutton.

“They’re actually hunting for me, so when I finally encounter them, I get swept into Klaus’ master plan that he has developed around Ray,” Gallagher recently told EW of his upcoming role on the show. “It’s not the friendliest of encounters. I think the audience is really gonna eat it up. It really has to do with Klaus’ vision of the future.”

Gallagher has signed onto the show for a short two episode arc, which suggests his character may suffer a bloody fate.

“Certainly blood is involved,” said Gallagher. “I think I can comfortably tell you that Ray’s run-in with Klaus involves blood,” he laughs.
