Jennifer Walters (Taitiana Maslany) has been having a fun run with She-Hulk on Disney+, but a rumor has come out that she’s set to appear in an upcoming MCU movie.
According to a rumor from @WorldWarHulkNew, She-Hulk is said to be making an appearance in Captain America: New World Order. It’s said that Jen’s blood will be an important McGuffin in the show, and it will be used to create other ‘Hulks’ by the Leader (Tim Blake Nelson). Here’s the post:
SCOOP:#SheHulkAttorneyAtLaw will end with #TheLeader getting Jen’s blood(will be one of his underlings). This will be the basis of other #Hulk’s in the MCU who will be made through Jen’s blood. #CaptainAmericaNewWorldOrder will introduce these other new Hulks made by The leader. pic.twitter.com/6jpCefdwPX

Of course, this is just a rumor for now, but it does make sense for Jen to even just make one appearance, seeing as the Leader is originally a Hulk villain in the comics. If anything, he was teased way back in 2008 with The Incredible Hulk, but it took more than a decade to finally get us to the payoff.
I’m honestly curious about how they’ll decide to approach the next Captain America film, seeing as we now have Anthony Mackie taking on the mantle. Sure we got his origin story sort of in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but how well will New World Order fair with general audiences who haven’t even seen the show?
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Mackie is one hell of a charismatic talent, and I’m sure he’ll have his own original take on Captain America when he’s finally set to soar on the big screen.
Captain America: New World Order is set to hit theaters May 3, 2024. You can catch new episodes of She-Hulk on Disney+ every Thursday.
