Constantine Cast Promotional Pictures

NBC has unveiled a collection of cast promotional shots from upcoming supernatural drama series Constantine.

Featured are Harold Perrineau as Manny, Angelica Celaya as Zed (whose character didn’t make it into the otherwise excellent pilot episode) Charles Halford as Chaz and of course Matt Ryan as John Constantine.

The series, which premieres on Friday Oct. 24 and is based on the comic book series Hellblazer, follows the exploits of John Constantine, a master of the occult who is armed with “a ferocious knowledge” of the dark arts – along with a wickedly naughty wit.

The pilot will see Constantine attempting to abandon his war against the supernatural by committing himself to an asylum. However when the daughter of an old friend (guest star Lucy Griffiths) needs his help, John finds himself thrust back into the fray.
