CHICAGO FIRE Sneak Peek: Welch is Back & Dawson’s Not Happy

Dawson (Monica Raymund) is not about to sing bad boy Tommy Welch’s (Kenny Johnson) praises any time soon, as evidenced in this new sneak peek clip from Chicago Fire’s Feb. 17 episode.

“Headlong Towards Disaster” will see Boden forced to take time away from the Firehouse following the birth of his child and death of his Dad.

However when interim chief Pat Pidgen (guest star Matthew Del Negro) is brought over to temporarily fill in for Boden, he immediately rubs everyone – and Dawson in particular – up the wrong way by assigning Tommy Welch to Rescue Squad 3.

And just in case you need a refresher on Welch’s list of previous misdemeanours at Firehouse 51, he was responsible for attempting to blacken Cruz’ (Joe Minoso) name following an almost fatal fire engine crash, in addition to coming to blows with Casey (Jesse Spencer) and proving to be a world class misogynist around Dawson.
