CASTLE Gallery: Season 8 Episode 1 “XY”

It’s not much, but it’s a start. ABC has released 2 new images from Castle’s upcoming Season 8 premiere “XY.”

Airing Sept. 21 the special two part story will see Castle and Beckett adjusting to Beckett’s career change (as you will recall, after passing the Captain’s exam last season, Beckett was offered a Senate run).

However, when a call from a mysterious stranger sets off an explosive chain of events, the couple’s plans take a backseat.

ABC teases that “there are two sides to every story,” and this two-parter will explore the same story from each of their perspectives, first from Castle’s side as he searches for Beckett.

This season, Castle and Beckett will be joined by Hayley, (Toks Olagundoye “The Neighbors”), a quick- witted, free-spirited, former Scotland Yard police officer who works as a security specialist and is not afraid to cross lines to get things done.
