CASTLE 8.21 “Hell to Pay” Photos

Castle is borrowing from FOX’s Lucifer in its May 9 installment when Rick comes to believe the Devil himself could be behind a recent murder.

ABC has teased in recent log-lines for “Hell to Pay” that when an axe-wielding, escaped psychiatric inmate drops dead in Castle’s P.I. office, Castle and Beckett’s investigation leads Rick to suspect the victim’s death could be the work of the Antichrist.

“Hell to Pay” airs Monday, May 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC, but if you can’t wait that long, we’ve got a new gallery of photos from the tongue-in-cheek episode to share with you below.

Castle stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, Stana Katic as NYPD Captain Kate Beckett, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle with Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers.

For season eight, Toks Olagundoye (The Neighbors) joined the series as Hayley.

Guest cast in “Hell to Pay” includes Ronnie Steadman as Gabriel Shaw, Emanuel Loarca as Guard, Michael Chieffo as Dr. Brock Martin, Anne-Marie Johnson as Sondra Kramer, Matthew Borlenghi as Rollins.

“Hell to Pay” was written by Jim Adler (story) and Adam Frost & Nancy Kiu (teleplay) and directed by John Terlesky.
