The hype surrounding “Game of Thrones” is beginning to head towards a beautiful conclusion as we’re down to our last two episodes of season 7. And if there’s one thing that’s so iconic in the show, it’s the amazing animated intro. Now, the upcoming Apple Music series spinoff of James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke” jump in the hype to showcase the famous GoTÂ intro in its own special way.
A new clip was released Sunday for a “Carpool Karaoke” episode featuring “Game of Thrones'” siblings Arya (Maisie Williams) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner). The Thrones-inspired clip features the show’s iconic intro but with its graphics replaced by famous landscapes in Los Angeles. The regular intro for the show features James Corden and his “Late Late Show” clips, but for this episode, the series decided to honor “Game of Thrones” with the creative clip of Westeros—Los Angeles style.
Carpool Karaoke: A Game of Thrones
Instead of King’s Landing, Winterfell, Dragonstone and The Wall, we see the gradual construction of places in LA, complete with the famous “Game of Thrones” score by Ramin Djawadi. We’re then taken to a long highway that shows different clips of the upcoming episodes for “Carpool Karaoke.” It concludes with Williams’ and Turner’s clip where they are seen rocking along to “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus. The Stark siblings will also sing along to Justin Bieber’s famous single, “Sorry.”
