Breaking Bad stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul had a fun reunion in the last season of Better Call Saul, but the two are apparently returning for the next season of FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Check out the trailer for the sixteenth season:
Here’s the description for IASIP 16:
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia returns for a record-extending Sweet 16 Season. The Gang is ripping straight from the headlines as they yearn for the past and attempt to survive the year, navigating 2023 with 16 years of baggage and a few figures from their past rearing their heads.
An appearance from Cranston and Paul shouldn’t come as much of a surprise for a show like It’s Always Sunny. The series has had some very high-profile guest stars in the past, including Josh Groban, P. Diddy, and Pablo Schreiber. Even non-actors like Guillermo del Toro (Shape of Water) and David Benioff and D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones) have appeared on the show as kooky characters.
Amazingly, It’s Always Sunny has managed to last for so long because of characters that refuse to evolve in a world that is constantly keeping up to the times. We don’t know what the gang will choose to tackle next, but I’m always eager to see them get into whatever shameless shenanigans over and over again.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia returns to FX for its 16th season on June 7.
