Brian Tyree Henry in Negotiations to Join ‘A Quiet Place 2’ Cast

Emmy and Tony Award nominee Brian Tyree Henry is in negotiations to team up with Emily Blunt for the 2020 sequel of John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place according to TheWrap.
A Quiet Place 2 met a lot of praise and as well as awards after it hit the cinemas in August 2018. The film won the Critics’ Choice for Best Sci-Fi/Horror Movie as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award for Blunt.
After the global success of one of 2018’s scariest movies, a sequel was evidently in the horizon. A Quiet Place 2 is being written by John Krasinski which he revealed in October 2018. But Krasinski wants to be involved as much as he can in the creation of the second movie of A Quiet Place, The Office star is also directing the follow-up film.
A Quiet Place 2: The Unconventional Sequel
In a separate interview, Blunt and Krasinski gave small hints of what the sequel will be about. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2018, Krasinski said, “In our circumstance, the thing that the audience loved most was the world. That’s the cool thing that you could explore on and on.” Blunt also confirmed and summarized Krasinski’s statement. In an interview with Business Insider, Blunt said, “this isn’t a sequel at all — this is the second book in a series of books. It’s a widening of a world.”
Who Is Starring In The Sequel?
It was said that Evelyn Abbott will be seen in A Quiet Place 2 so, we will definitely get Emily Blunt on the sequel. Aside from Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds are also coming back to portray Evelyn’s children Marcus and Regan. It was also confirmed that Cillian Murphy will join the cast alongside with Blunt. But his role in the movie is still being kept under wraps.
It’s clear that the film will not be the conventional sequel, we will be introduced to a new storyline and most likely a new set of characters. Nonetheless, A Quiet Place 2 will surely feed our hungry souls craving for answers about what happens next after the cliffhanger ending in the first movie, where we saw Evelyn Abbott and her kids finally devise a way to disrupt the hearing of the monsters and go from being hunted to becoming the hunter.
A Quiet Place 2 is set to hit theaters on March 15. 2020 and will be produced by Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, and Michael Bay.
